Everything the Modesty toolkit ships: library, CLI, GUI, VLC plugin, browser extension (planned), and the Android APK. Everything is MIT-licensed and everything you need to self-host is free — paid plans buy our uptime, freshness feeds and support.

Lib (nsfw-scanner)

Pre-production

Python ONNX image-classification library — rates websites, images, video/audio 1–10. Joint ResNet-50 + binary MobileNetV2 models.

Command-line scanner over the lib — scan URLs, images, video, audio; print ratings 1–10. Available as `nsfw-scan` / `modesty-nsfw-scan`.

Desktop GUI wrapper around the scanner — visual dashboard, rate overlays, skip-list generation. Tauri-based cross-platform app.

VLC Plugin

VLC skip player (`vlc-skip-list.lua`) — reads `.skp` files and drops blocked items before they play. Drop-in VLC extension.

Browser Extension

Browser extension that checks URLs against the blocklist before you land on them. Not started yet — planned for Phase 5.

APK (Screen Guard)

Pre-production

Android screen guard — watches the screen via MediaProjection and covers adult content with a full-screen cover. Five market variants: Kids, Family, Strict, Adult, Religious.
